...You know, I still don't get it. Haven't from the start.
I wasn't even acting - and I realize just being up here casts a lot of doubt on that, but still. And while it's been suggested I deserve the thing on personality alone, I don't need a little gold statue for that. I still think you should be giving this thing to someone who did what the name of the award implies.
But since you insist, thanks. I'm sure I'll find something to do with it. Also, thanks to Mark for having his camera in the right place at the right time, Collins for introducing me to these people, and my little sister for making it possible for me to be here.
Oh, and by the way? If there's a point to the film at all, it's that things work out a lot better when people get over their differences and get along. Get the feeling most of the people who need to hear that aren't paying attention, but... take that as you will.
